New and returning dancers are encouraged to join Dance Explorations! Building upon the foundations laid in Dance Discovery, this class is designed for boys and girls who are ready to explore more structured elements of dance and creative movement, while still embracing the imaginative play that makes dance so much fun.
In Dance Explorations, your child will begin to refine their movements, learning basic dance steps and techniques with a focus on rhythm, coordination, and body awareness. Each class is an adventure, incorporating engaging stories, lively music, and playful props like ribbons, scarves, and plush friends to keep the excitement high.
As your little dancer leaps, twirls, and grooves, they’ll also be developing important social skills like taking turns, following directions, and working as a team. The class is thoughtfully designed to be developmentally appropriate, ensuring that every child feels confident and successful as they explore the world of dance.
